Master Hunter Awards
The Master Hunter Awards program in Manitoba recognizes hunters who demonstrate a high level of proficiency and ethics in their hunting practices.
Primary Award Levels

Bronze Badge
The Bronze badge is presented to hunters who harvest all qualifying species under the migratory waterfowl or upland game bird category and one boar black bear or whitetail deer.
Silver Badge
The Silver badge is presented to hunters who successfully complete the Bronze level and harvest additional qualifying migratory waterfowl, upland game bird, big game and/or unique bird species.
Gold Badge
The Gold badge is presented to hunters who successfully complete the Bronze and Silver level and harvest one elk, caribou or bull moose.
Platinum Badge
The Platinum badge is presented to hunters who successfully complete the Bronze, Silver and Gold level and harvest additional qualifying big game species.
Expert Badge
The Expert badge is presented to hunters who successfully complete the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level and harvest additional qualifying big game and predator species.
Grand Slam Badge
The Grand Slam badge is presented to hunters who successfully complete the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Expert level and harvest 9 of 11 qualifying species and species categories.
Specialist Award Levels
Specialist badges are presented to hunters who harvest all qualifying species under the waterfowl, upland, unique bird, big game or predator specialist category. (* Badges may not be exactly as shown)
